Nothing compares to the love that was shown when our lives were spared
I wish upon a star to follow love & to find a love to declare
After the sunrise...let our past pains be wiped away
Let us walk in forgiveness until we're old & gray

Allow us to lay around in colors until colorblind is what we become

I pray that we be like the blue birds & take to the sky

Let us be so free & encourage us to use our shoulders to lean on
Touch our hands so we can watch our arms grow strong
Make us sweeter than music & younger than spring
Lord teach us how to walk in love so this whole world can be free
