My Thoughts...

I can't dance & I can't sing

I'm an African American mixed with some other exotic things

I don't have a special model walk

My engine light is on & my car won't get me far

But I have something good to say if you would just let me talk

I rushed to get older & be grown before I was grown

Made a few mistakes & I did some wrong

But look at me now...see what I have become

Can't you see the God in me??

I'm no longer a child

I'm a woman who found the best in me

I'm not perfect & my hair ain't always done

But I'm happy because God & I are one

It's not in the size of my clothes nor the color of my hair

It's not how much I make but about the love & service I share

One day I will practice the law...by getting innocent people out of jail

I will change the world by changing myself first

I will love someone until theres no more hurt

I will help save Africa by searching for a cure

Look at all the little lost girls & boys

Searching for themselves in drugs, sex, & material toys

I will tell that little girl to love the skin she's in

God made us beautiful but gorgeous from within

It's not about the money that you make...but all the lives that you save

I'm turning in my will today...Just so I can live for him

I'm gonna help save the world...because that's why I was created....
